This album features this Alberta-based singer/songwriter's most folk record to date. His second release features songs of self introspection, travel and most particularly songs for his new daughter. Larmand has branded a style of music he likes to call "Nomad Folk" for it's darker, Gypsy-like melodies and feel. You can hear this style most notable in the holiday song "White Horses in the Woods" and "Star Hawk."

With hooks and great melodies a plenty, a different take on a classic cover, guitar work in the Mark Knophler vein, tons of lonely harmonica, metallophone and many fun appearances from local artists and other indie friends, National Ramble makes for truly memorable listening experience.
